Are there any specific services for bereavement of suicide?

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exists to meet the needs and break the isolation of those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend. They hold a monthly support group for people living in St Helens, Halton and Warrington, and they also have a national helpline (0300 111 5065 – open 9am to 9pm) that offers emotional and practical support.

The Barbara Bettle Foundation offers fully-funded postvention therapy to individuals aged over 18 within the Merseyside region who have been bereaved through suicide. For further information see www.barbarabettlefoundation.co.uk
