The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research.  Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer but the BHF is leading the fight against it.  Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.

  • Heart Health Questions? –  Call the Heart helpline (0300 330 3311)  to speak to a Cardiac Nurse or Information Support Officer for information and support about your heart condition and keeping the heart healthy.
  • Free Heart Matters membership.  Join Heart Matters to receive the award-winning heart health magazine and access tasty, heart-healthy lifestyle, whether you or someone close to you has a heart condition or you’re looking to improve your health.
  • Join the Nation of Lifesavers.  Schools, community groups and workplaces across the UK can learn CPR with the innovative watch and learn Call Push Rescue Training Kit.   Or attend a free Heartstart course which teaches you CPR and other emergency lifesaving skills.
  • Affiliated to local support groups St Helens Healthy Heart Support Group and St Helens Heartbeat Cardiac Support Group
