The St Helens & District Group of Diabetes UK has been running for over 30 years. In that time we have been able to help many people with diabetes.
- We have 8 monthly meetings a year, which are usually held in St Helens United Reformed Church, King Street, WA10 2JZ, on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm to 9pm. We do not have meetings in Dec, Jan, July or August.
- We have many Diabetic Specialists that come along and talk at meetings, on different aspects of living with diabetes.
- The meetings are open to anyone with an interest in diabetes, they are free to attend and refreshments are available afterwards. We also have a wide selection of information on diabetes available.
- Many people who have been recently diagnosed with diabetes find our meetings especially helpful. It is always useful having the opportunity to chat to other people in the same situation as yourself!
