To improve the lives and provide support to people (and their carers) with a range of mental health conditions, learning disabilities and dementia.
- Developing Options Team (01744 736463) based at 144 Duke Street, St Helens, work with clients (18+) with mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and stress and who do not currently have a health professional (psychiatrist, CPN or Care Coordinator) working with them. The service is aimed at people who wish to make positive changes in their life but don’t know how to, and help is provided in creating a support plan aimed at giving people choice and control over their own lives e.g. budgeting, employment, socialising, access to support
- Residential care and supported housing schemes throughout St Helens
How to Access the Service:
Referrals for the Developing Options service (01744 736463) can be self-referred or by a Carer, however clients must not already be under the care of a CPN, Psychiatrist or Care Coordinator and they must have a GP in the St Helens area or pay Council Tax to St Helens Borough Council to access the service.
