ME Association


The ME Association, founded in 1976, funds and supports research and provides information, support, education and training - benefiting people with ME (myalgic encephalopathy), CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), professionals and all others interested in the illness.

Services Provided:

  • Information and practical support for people affected by ME/CFS/PVFS/CFIDS through their website and Connect Helpline - 0844 576 5326
  • There is also a local support group that runs on the first and third Friday of every month at the Peter Street Community Centre between 1pm and 3pm
