The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that funds and promotes global research into the disease and provides support for people affected by MND. The charity has a vision of a world that is free of MND.
- The South Lancashire Branch holds an open group every third Thursday of the month (except December) for people with MND, their families and carers.
- MND Connect is a helpline (0845 762 6262) that offers people access to a quick route to get advice, practical/emotional support and directing to other services and agencies
