St Helens Bereavement Service


St Helens Bereavement Service is a voluntary organisation offering an individual (aged 18+) confidential befriending service to people of the borough who have suffered the loss of a loved one. They aim to help you develop an understanding of the nature of loss and cope with any problems, which may result through losing someone.

Services Provided:

  • Confidential individual befriending service to offer emotional and social support, for as long as required
  • Affiliated with two bereavement social groups

How to Access the Service:

Self-referrals are accepted please contact the Bereavement Services Coordinator for more details. Office opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 1pm.
