St Helens Intergrated Recovery Services is a free and confidential service that offers support and advice to adults (19years and above) in St Helens who are concerned about their drinking or drug use or the negative effects it may be having on their relationships, work or family lives.
The service is a fully integrated treatment service that takes service users from the start of their journey into their desired level of recovery.
In April 2012 St Helens Intergrated Recoery Services replaced all previous drug and alcohol services provided in St Helens; these include ARCH Initiatives, the Drugs Intervention Programme (DIP), Community Integrated Care, Lifestyle Team and the Recovery Centre.
St?Helens Intrgrated Recovery Services?provides a service Monday - Friday 9am till 5pm with late nights Wednesday till 8pm.? Saturday is 9am till 1pm.?
We offer a Midwife clinic every other Tuesday and there is a women's group which is held regularly in the recovery centre.
There is a variety of groups held in the recovery centre such as MAP meetings, confidence workshops and also?a selection of creative groups.
Full Hepatitis C testing, referrals and treatment support available on site.
As a service we offer a needle exchange as do the Millennium Centre Pharmacy.

The Recovery Centre is open to anyone who genuinely seeks recovery.? It is a vibrant and recovery focussed environment where people feel warm and welcome.? We firmly believe that as well as addressing our drug and /or alcohol problems recovery means taking an honest look at our thinking, attitudes, behaviours and lifestyles.? We run an honest, open programme, whether you are struggling, lapsing or doing great, be honest with yourself, your peers and staff and you will get the support that you need.
