St Helens People's Choice


St Helens People’s Choice is an independent group run for and by people with learning disabilities. They empower people to have their say about the things that are important to them.

Services Provided:

  • Weekly activities club (e.g. crafts, karaoke and day trips out) for people with learning disabilities
  • Campaigning and encouraging self-advocacy. For example working in partnership to improve safety in the town centre, creating a ‘Safety in Town card’ for local businesses to show that they support safety for people with learning disabilities
  • Training sessions
