Starting Point is a place where you can receive free information, advice and guidance on jobs, education and training in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All services are completely free and they offer assistance and coaching to help you find a job, write a CV or start training - in some instances they can also provide funding to help you get there.
- One to one information and guidance (including through the National Careers Service)- In-house and outreach team of Guidance Advisers can provide advice with applying for jobs, writing a CV and mastering interview techniques. There is also a fully stocked careers library with a wealth of information to hand
- Training and Education - Starting Point have a range of training programmes available (e.g. business and office skills, IT courses, maths, English, health and social care etc) and can also help identify funding for training delivered by other providers
- Work Clubs are held at Starting Point every Friday.
