‘Wellbeing’  refers to ‘feeling good’ and ‘functioning well’ - both physically and emotionally, and the New Economics Foundation has conducted reseach to suggest five simple ways to improve wellbeing in everyday life.  By adopting these five ways to wellbeing into your routine, you can increase your life expectancy by up to 7½ years and significantly improve your emotional health.

The Wellbeing Project is a community based organisation that provides a range of activities for everyone that would like to improve their levels of wellbeing.  Please click here to find out about other organisations that provide opportunities for socialising and improving your wellbeing.

Information about St Helens Wellbeing Week 2012 can be found by clicking here.

Take our wellbeing pledge...
Based on the 'five ways to wellbeing' and the examples shown above, Click here to take our short wellbeing questionnaire - a fun way to get you to start thinking about how you might be able to improve your wellbeing.  Challenge yourself to try one new thing in each of the five ways to wellbeing and see how you feel afterwards!
